I have been teaching Career Counseling for years and at last determined to do the Zunker text. What a slip-up. Yes, it's comprehensive. however it's written sort of a dangerous lit review. Endless citations of analysis with very little synthesis. it's arduous for college kids to examine the massive picture! i'll keep on with the Niles/Harris-Bowlsbey text (Career Development Interventions within the twenty first Century) for my Career Counseling course, and therefore the Sharf text (Applying Career Development Theory to Counseling) for a lot of advanced courses in Vocational Theory.
